I moved to NYC from North Florida in 1993, and have been a licensed NYC tour guide since 1995. I've worked with over 100 different companies, hotels, and organizations in my 30 years as a tour guide, and I've toured over 50,000 people.

I'm a professional journalist, author and writer who has written for Travel +Leisure, Smithsonian, National Geographic, and regularly for the NY Daily News. I'm a member of New York's oldest journalist club for women, the NY Newswomen's Club. I'm also a member of the Visionary Network of the 9/11 Museum.
I lead a specialized tour of the 9/11 Memorial that draws on three decades of experience: as a walking tour guide through the original World Trade Center complex, as a longtime resident of the Financial District since 2001, and as a survivor of the attacks. I have a firsthand account of that day, which I detailed in an award-winning book, and I’ve written over 30 articles on the subject. I’ve also shared my story on more than 50 podcasts and spoken to live audiences around the world, from Japan to Madagascar. I also specialize in a history tour of my neighborhood, the Financial District- I'm a 25 year resident. A highlights tour of Central Park, a sample sale tour of the Garment District, and a shopping/history tour of SOHO/Nolita are also specialties. I can also do a Sex and the City highlights tour (I was even in an episode!)
