I am Dani, a licensed NYC tour guide. I am originally from Germany and offer tours in English as well as my mother tongue German. I have been introducing visitors from all over the world to NYC since 2017 and have turned my passion for Brooklyn and NYC into my career. I've got over 2,000 reviews on various platforms and in 2019, I won the Airbnb award “Host with the most five-star reviews in New York City." Since I started offering tours in New York City, I've led nearly 1,000 tours, which have included group tours and private tours, tours of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, bicycle tours, food tours (especially pizza tours!), running tours, photography tours and special interest tours, which have included TV & Movie location tours, brewery crawls and thrift tours. I offer tours in all five boroughs and am able to tailor tours specifically to your interests.

I fell in love with New York City during my very first visit over 15 years ago, and after traveling the world for seven years, I settled down in NYC. I came to tourguiding by way of travel writing - after taking hundreds of tours all over the world while I was traveling the world (and writing about it), I decided to create my own walking tours in New York City to show visitors parts of the city that they may not find on their own.I gained my knowledge about New York City through extensive research for travel guides and travel articles, and I never tire of exploring the city that has been my home for the past ten years.

Over the years, I have lived in 9 different Brooklyn neighborhoods and I can show you this diverse borough from my very own perspective while sharing facts about history, culture, architecture, socio-economic issues and a lot more.

The first tour I created was a half-day Brooklyn tour which I am still offering several times a week, but I've since added a Williamsburg tour to my portfolio as well as a Brooklyn Pizza Walk, and I am now also giving private Manhattan tours, group tours of the Manhattan highlights (especially for cruise ship tourists) and am available for fitness tours (my three biggest passions are New York City, pizza and running).

I am also a passionate photographer, and can take photos of my guests throughout the tour. My private tours include a package of photographs of the entire tour.
