Gardiner Comfort

I am a native New Yorker, an actor, and teacher with a unique, friendly, and performative approach to touring. I am highly knowledgeable about known, and lesser known, historical and cultural aspects of New York City. As a performer, I am great at reading people and can provide a fun, informative, and welcoming tour for any group of people, regardless of age or special interest.

Skidmore College: BS in Theatre

American Repertory Theatre IATT/MXAT at Harvard University: MFA in Acting

Personal Interests:

Aside from the standard NYC related stuff: theatre and film, long distance running, triathlons, the great outdoors, bowhunting.

Special Tours:

Book me directly on Tours By Locals:

Visit to book my tour of Tribeca, the downtown neighborhood where I grew up in an artist's loft. In person or virtually, I take you through the cobblestoned alleys of a much misunderstood, and historically rich area, ending at the wonderful, and very old bar, The Ear Inn.

My schedule changes often but I typically have availability, especially when booked ahead of time.
